Our Founders

Lisa M. Roberson

Lisa Roberson is a native of Lancaster, SC. She studied at The University of South Carolina-Upstate earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Lisa also pursued her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on education minoring in Hospice/Palliative Care from the University of Phoenix. Over her past 18 years in nursing, Lisa has worked in many different roles including bedside nursing as Med-Surg, PCU, behavioral health, home health/hospice, and in various leadership positions.

Lisa’s true passion and love is for our geriatric and special needs population. This love led Lisa and her business partner, Shere Catoe, to purchase a 58-bed residential care home caring for the under-served population of Chesterfield County. They are now in the development process of starting a residential care home in Kershaw, SC.

Lisa’s love for the senior adult population has been the driving force to make this opportunity a reality. It’s a tangible way to make a genuine impact on the community and the surrounding areas. Her and Shere’s focus is to provide compassionate care for each individual’s physical and emotional needs and to connect individuals with resources that support their ever-changing psychosocial needs.

Lisa lives in Lancaster with her husband Clayton. She has three children: Drew Rollings (Kelsey), Sherman University Chiropractic and Physical Therapy 2024; Alexis Roberson, Andrew Jackson High School 2022, and Ande Grace Roberson, Andrew Jackson High School 2028.

Shere Catoe

Shere Catoe is a native of Kershaw, SC. She studied at The University of South Carolina earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology minoring in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

After working in the Lancaster County community and seeing the gaps in care services, Shere was inspired to enroll at The University of South Carolina (USC) pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing degree. Upon Graduation in 2012 as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Shere worked as a cardiology nurse practitioner and in hospice care. Shere continued to see even more gaps in the care of those in her own community. She again enrolled at USC and completed post master’s training in psychiatry-mental health in 2018. In 2019, she received her Doctorate at USC. As part of her Doctoral program, Shere created the Inpatient Palliative Care Program which continues today at MUSC Lancaster Medical Center.

In 2017, Shere started her own practice, providing medical, psychiatric, and palliative care to the residents of Lancaster, York, Chester, and Chesterfield Counties. Most recently, Shere decided to partner with Lisa Roberson to purchase a 58-bed residential care home caring for the under-served population of Chesterfield County and is in process of creating a residential care home in Kershaw, SC.

Shere feels strongly that the senior adult population are often neglected in important areas of care that would greatly improve their quality of life. She strives to reduce those gaps in care for those in her community. Like Lisa, her focus is also to provide compassionate care for each individual’s physical and emotional needs and to connect individuals with resources that support their ever-changing psychosocial needs.

Shere lives in Kershaw with her husband Jimmy. She has three children: •Chandler Norville (Lilly), Mercer University JD 2023; •Grace Wallace (Nic), Quantico Marine Base, VA, and •Molly McKittrick, Andrew Jackson High School 2023.
